I had a hard time getting a hold of a priest for a grave, time sensitive matter.  No details available here.

Kindly say a prayer for the situation.

"An Invitation for You to Love Mary, Woman of the Bible" (Homily #261 on the Wedding Feast at Cana in Jn. 2)

After the 8 a.m. Mass with the Gospel on the Wedding Feast at Cana, a man proposed in front of the altar with his now-fiancée.  

The now-fiancé said he wanted to propose to her with the Gospel on the Wedding Feast at Cana.  I assisted the pastor in his giving a blessing for engaged couples.

It reminded me of when I proposed to my now-wife at Our Lady's Chapel in St. Michael's Cathedral in Toronto during World Youth Day 2002.
